LEWISBURG, Pa. - Ariel Sparrow and Allyson Hackman both shot final round 79's as Cleveland State carded a 330 to finish 10th of 15 teams at the Bucknell Lady Bison Invitational on Sunday.

The 54-hole event was played at the par-70, 5,863-yard Bucknell G.C.

CSU opened the tournament with rounds of 321 and 328 on Saturday.

"It was great to get out and play in our first tournament of the season," head coach Steve Weir said. "I saw some good things from the girls, but there are some things we will have to work on as we prepare for our next event. We had to players shoot 79 today and that shows we have a team capable of posting some good numbers."

Freshman Allyson Hackman concluded her first career collegiate tournament with a final round 79 and finished tied for 25th place. She shot rounds of 81-79-79 (239).

"Allyson played great this weekend, especially with it being her first collegiate tournament," Weir said.

Senior Ariel Sparrow also carded a 79 today, moving up to finish in a tie for 37th place with a 54-hole total of 244 (80-85-79).

The Vikings are back in action on Sept. 17-18 when CSU plays in the Chicago State Invitational.
