Haley Schmitt will begin her first season as a graduate assistant with the Cleveland State women’s basketball team this season, transitioning to a staff role after spending four years in a Viking uniform.

Schmitt recently completed her four-your career at Cleveland State, serving as an integral part of the Viking lineup from 2010-2014. Over her career, Schmitt shot 49-percent from the floor (179-for-364), ranking in the top-10 in field goal percentage among Horizon League players throughout the years.

Schmitt finished her undergraduate degree in December 2013, double majoring in health sciences and psychology, and is currently enrolled in the accelerated nursing program at Cleveland State.
