Reisma Named #HLWBB Player Of The Week

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - After leading Cleveland State to a 2-0 record at the Homewood Suites Classic last time out, sophomore Jordana Reisma has been named the Horizon League Player of the Week. This marks the first weekly accolade for Resima this season, while it is the second time that a Viking has picked up #HLWBB weekly honors.

Last week, Reisma and the Vikings picked up back-to-back wins against Southern Miss (70-63) and Drexel (69-59), closing out non-league play with a league-best 11-2 record on the year.

Reisma averaged 15.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per game on the week, while shooting 58-percent from the floor. Against Southern Miss, Reisma recorded her second double-double of the year with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while she followed that up with a career-high 18 points on a .692 clip from the floor along with nine boards against Drexel.

In addition, Reisma added two blocked shots and three assists on the week.

For the season, Reisma is averaging 7.7 points per game while shooting 53-percent from the floor, while also averaging 5.7 rebounds per game and recording a team-best 17 total blocked shots.
