Brittni Moore Named #HLWBB Player Of The Week

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – After helping Cleveland State post a 3-0 record on the week, women's basketball senior Brittni Moore has been named the Horizon League Player of the Week. This marks the second weekly honor for Moore this season, while the Vikings have now been awarded Player of the Week accolades a league-leading seven times this year.

Moore and the Vikings picked up a trio of wins against Purdue Fort Wayne, Northern Kentucky and Wright State last week, improving to 26-3 overall this year. Last week's three victories extended Cleveland State's current win streak to nine straight games, as the Vikings enter the final week of regular season play tied at the top of the #HLWBB standings with a 16-2 record in league play.

Over the three games last week, Moore averaged a double-double with 13.3 points and 13.7 rebounds per game, finishing with a double-double in each of the three games.

Moore started the week with 12 points and 13 rebounds in the win at Purdue Fort Wayne, helping the Vikings set a program record for wins in a single season after picking up a 73-63 victory over the Mastodons. Against Northern Kentucky, Moore finished with 13 points and a career-high tying 16 rebounds, while she followed that up with a 15-point, 12-rebound performance over Wright State.

Moore also combined for eight assists, four steals and three blocked shots on the three games.

For the season, Moore ranks second on the team and 10th among league players averaging 12.1 points and 5.9 rebounds per game, while she is one of seven league players with four or more double-doubles on the year.
