SETTING THE SCENE
The Cleveland State women's basketball team will close out its final roadswing of the regular season this Saturday (Feb. 28), traveling to Milwaukee for a 3:00 p.m. EST contest. Entering the game, CSU stands at 16-10 overall this season and 8-5 in Horizon League play, while Milwaukee is 8-17 overall and 4-9 in league action. This will be the 47th meeting between the two teams, with Milwaukee owning a slight 24-22 advantage in the overall series. The Vikings have tallied a 7-4 record over the last six seasons though, including a 67-58 victory earlier this year.

A WIN SATURDAY WOULD…
Give Cleveland State back-to-back wins for the sixth time this season…Mark a season sweep of the Panthers…Give the Vikings a 5-2 record for the month of February…Mark the first time out of the last four seasons that CSU has recorded 17 wins.

SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
Milwaukee enters Saturday's contest with an 8-17 overall record and a 4-9 mark in Horizon League contests…The Panthers have won just one contest over their last seven games, defeating Oakland 66-60…Milwaukee's other league victories came against Detroit, Valparaiso, and UIC…Ashley Green is one of three league players to rank in the top-5 in scoring and rebounding - ranking second with 19.8 points per game and fifth with 8.0 boards per game…Jaleesa Armstrong is one of six league players with at least 100 assists on the season, ranking fourth averaging 4.3 helpers per game.

LAST TIME OUT
The Vikings rebounded with a 77-70 victory at Valparaiso, improving to 8-5 in Horizon League play. Cleveland State was led by Imani Gordon (20 pts, 10 rbs) and Cori Coleman (17 pts, 15 rbs) who notched double-doubles against the Crusaders, while Alexis Eckles (18 pts) and Kiersten Green (13 pts) also finished with double-digit points. The Vikings shot 42-percent from the field, and recorded 18 points off of 11 Valparaiso turnovers.

THE FIRST TIME AROUND
Saturday's contest at Milwaukee will be the second meeting between the two teams this season, with Cleveland State earning a 67-58 victory in the first matchup last month. In the first meeting, the Vikings were led offensively by Cori Coleman (19 pts) and Imani Gordon (13 pts), while Coleman and Brooke Smith each notched a team-high eight rebounds. CSU grabbed a season-high 18 offensive rebounds against Milwaukee, converting them into 20 second chance points.

GREEN FROM BEHIND-THE-ARC
Senior Kiersten Green has been Cleveland State's top three-point shooter this season, converting a team-high 65 shots from behind-the-arc. Green, who needs just three more three-pointers to set a CSU single-season record, ranks sixth on the CSU career three-point list with 156. Green leads the league averaging 2.5 three-pointers per game this season, and has knocked down four or more shots from behind-the-arc during nine games.

COLEMAN RECORDS 1,500TH CAREER POINT
Following her 17-point performance at Valparaiso last time out, Cori Coleman became just the sixth Viking all-time with 1,500 career points, entering Saturday's contest with 1,503 total points. Coleman, who leads the team averaging 16.7 points per game this season, is one of just four current Horizon League players with at least 1,500 points on their career (Kim Demmings-WSU, Heidi Schlegel-YSU, Ashley Green-UWM), and ranks 25th on the Horizon League all-time scoring list.

…COLEMAN ON THE BOARDS
Along with her 17 points against the Crusaders, Cori Coleman also tallied a career-high 15 rebounds last time out, notching her third double-double of the season and the fifth of her career. Coleman ranks 12th among Horizon League players averaging 6.5 boards per game, but is the lone player under 5' 10" to rank in the top-15. Coleman has a team-high 71 offensive boards on the season, and has turned those rebounds into 54 second chance points for herself and 26 second chance points for her teammates.

GORDON NOTCHES BACK-TO-BACK 20-POINT GAMES
Senior Imani Gordon recorded 20 points for the second consecutive game last time out, ending right on the number against Valparaiso. Gordon, who also tallied 23 points at Detroit (Feb. 21), is now tied for 11th on the CSU career scoring list with 1,229 career points. Last week Gordon became the seventh Viking all-time to record 1,200 points and 700 rebounds on their career, and enters Saturday's contest with 1,229 points and 723 boards.

…GORDON IN THE CSU RECORD BOOK
In addition to ranking 11th on the CSU career scoring list, Imani Gordon also ranks 10th with her 723 career rebounds - one of just seven Vikings to rank in the top-11 in both categories. Gordon also ranks fourth with 489 defensive rebounds, is tied for fifth with 234 offensive boards, and ranks fifth with 379 made free throws.

BOSLEY HAS STRONG SHOWING AT VALPARAISO
Freshman Shadae Bosley had one of her best games of the season against the Crusaders last time out, notching seven points, four rebounds, and one block in 11 minutes of action. Bosley converted a pair of field goals and went 3-for-3 from the free throw line, while grabbing three defensive boards and one offensive rebound. Bosley, who has played in 20 games this season, has been averaging 1.3 points and 1.5 rebounds per game.

ECKLES ON THE BLOCK
Entering Saturday's contest, Alexis Eckles ranks third among Horizon League players averaging 1.5 blocked shots per game. Eckles, who has notched a team-high 38 blocks this season, ranks 10th on the single-season record list and needs three more to move into ninth place on the list. In addition, Eckles also has the highest amount of career blocks out of all current Vikings - achieving the mark in just one season of play.

SENIOR LEADERSHIP
The Cleveland State senior trio of Cori Coleman (433 pts), Imani Gordon (421), and Kiersten Green (321) has combined for 1,175 of CSU's 1,835 points so far this season - accounting for 64-percent of CSU's offense. All three seniors are ranked in the top-15 on the CSU career scoring list, Coleman ranking sixth with 1,503 points, Gordon ranking 11th (1,229), and Green ranking 15th (1,177). This trio also represents the first time in program history that three Vikings on the same roster have recorded 1,000 career points.
