SETTING THE SCENE
The Vikings will take to the road for their lone contest this week, traveling to Youngstown State for a 7:05 p.m. matchup on Thursday, February 21. Entering the week CSU stands at 12-13 overall and 4-8 in league play after dropping a pair of tough road contests in Wisconsin last week. Earlier this season the Penguins earned a 72-63 victory over CSU, but the Vikings hold the advantage in the past 10 contests, owning an 8-2 record dating back to the 2008-09 season.

SCOUTING THE PENGUINS
Youngstown State enters Thursday's contest sitting second in the Horizon League with a 7-3 mark, while the Penguins stand at 17-6 overall this season...YSU has won six of its last seven games, falling at Green Bay (60-46) last time out...The Penguins own an 8-1 record at home this season...YSU ranks second in the leauge in scoring defense (56.3), scoring margin (+7.9) and three-point field goals made (8.3), and ranks third in turnover margin (+3.1)...Brandi Brown leads the leauge averaging 11.5 rebounds per game and ranks third averaging 19.3 points per game...Shar'Rae Davis, who reached the 100-assist mark last time out, leads the league averaging 4.4 per contest...Heidi Schlegel ranks second in free throw percentage (.845) and Monica Touvelle ranks second in 3-point field goal percentage (.395).

WINTON ON THE REBOUNDING CHARTS
After reaching the 1,000-rebound mark for her career last week, Shalonda Winton is closing in on becoming the all-time leader at Cleveland State - now just seven boards shy of moving into first place. Winton, who has 1,024 rebounds on her career, will move ahead of Audra Cook (1996-00) who currently holds the record with 1,030 career rebounds.

SCHMITT SETS CAREER-HIGH AT MILWAUKEE
With a perfect 7-for-7 performance from the field last Saturday, Haley Schmitt set a career-high with 14 points against the Panthers. Schmitt, who is averaging 5.3 points per game, has tallied double-digits in four games this season and leads the team with a .568 field goal percentage (54-95).

COLEMAN FROM BEHIND THE ARC
With 48 three-pointers so far this season, Cori Coleman is closing in on CSU's single season top-10 list - needing just seven more made three-pointers to rank ninth all-time in single season three-pointers. Coleman is averaging 1.9 three-pointers per contest, and has converted at least two shots from behind the arc in 15 games this year, including a career-high five at UIC (Jan. 9).

WINTON 20-POINT GAME STREAK
With 24 points at Milwaukee Saturday (Feb. 16), Shalonda Winton posted her seventh straight game with at least 20-points and her 10th during league play. Winton's ten 20-point games during league play is tops among league players, while her eighteen 20-point games overall this season also leads the league. On her career, Winton has tallied thirty-one 20-point games and 83 double-digit performances.

BATTLE OF THE BOARDS
Entering the week Cleveland State is the only Horizon League team to have four players with at least 100 rebounds this season, including Shalonda Winton who is one of just five league players to reach the 200-board mark. Joining Winton with at least 100 rebounds this season is Imani Gordon (118), Kiersten Green (109) and Cori Coleman (107), while Honesty King is just four boards shy of reaching the mark.

CSU FROM THE FIELD
For the fourth time this season CSU shot at least 48-percent from the floor, marking a .484 clip (30-62) at Milwaukee (Feb. 16). Saturday also marked the eighth time that the Vikings have shot at least 45-percent from the field this season - and just the third time during league play.

WINTON NOTCHES 1,000th CAREER REBOUND
Shalonda Winton became just the second player in program history to record 1,000 rebounds on their career last Monday (Feb. 11), and enters the Youngstown State contest with 1,024. Winton, who became the all-time leader in offensive rebounds at CSU earlier this season, has led the Vikings in rebounding during 20 games this season, including a season-high 17 boards at Nevada (Nov. 23).
