Coming off a redshirt season, Thomas Schwartz is expected to compete for a starting position at 141 pounds. His success in high school should help him make a smooth transition to college wrestling.

Took the season as a redshirt...competed at the Eastern Michigan Open as an unattached wrestler and posted a record of 1-1, which included at 4-1 decision over Matt McNeil.

Compiled 134-31 career record at 140 and 152 pounds...41-7 as senior and state qualifier...two-time district and sectional champion...four-year member of football team, playing at defensive back and wide receiver, helping team to state final four in 2006...3.4 cumulative GPA.
