Scouting Tim Scarl

Scarl has made an immediate impact at CSU after transferring last year from Indiana. He is a well-seasoned wrestler who knows how to win and will be counted on by the Vikings to contribute at 174 pounds.

2005-06 - Sophomore Season

Capped off a 12-7 season with a fifth place finish at the EWL Championship...won five of six matches, including one pin, en route to third place at the Edinboro Open (2/11)...won five matches by eight points or more.

2004-05 - Freshman Season

Posted a 13-9 overall record on the season...placed third at the Edinboro Open (2/19) and seventh at the Mat Town Invitational (11/27)...also competed at the Missouri Open and Midlands Championship...faced two ranked opponents on the season...recorded three technical falls and one pin.

2003-04 - Redshirt Season

Competed in open tournaments as a redshirt...placed first at Roger Decker Open and third at the Cleveland State Open.

High School

Compiled a career record of 133-31...placed third in state as individual and helped team to two state championships...lettered three years in wrestling and two in football at Southview...team finished second in the state his senior year.
