Cleveland State's winningest wrestler, Gerald Harris returns to the program as an assistant coach following the conclusion of his outstanding career last spring.

Harris, who compiled an astounding 118 wins during his four year career at Cleveland State, was a three-time NCAA qualifier, advancing to the tournament as a freshman, junior and senior.

During his senior season, he finished 40-5, and placed third at the Midlands Invitational in Evanston, Ill. Along with his outstanding overall record, Harris finished the season 18-1 in dual meets, the most single-season dual meet victories in school history.

In addition to his accomplishments on the mat, Harris was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Council and represented Cleveland State at the 2002 NCAA Foundation Leadership Conference. The Tulsa, Okla., native graduated in the summer of 2003 with a degree in secondary education.
