Scouting Chris Hahn

Chris is as strong mentally as anyone on the team and simply knows the sport inside and out. He has a knack for winning big matches and has won at the national level. He hopes to carry a strong finish to last season into this year, and will compete for a spot at 184 pounds.

2006-07 - Sophomore Season

Selected as alternate for 2007 NCAA Tournament after finishing fourth at 197 at the EWL Championships...finished year very strong after becoming 197 pound team starter, winning 8 of final 11 matches, including a seven match win streak...five major decisions tied for team lead in category...pins in consecutive competitions against Pitt and Lock Haven led team to a pair of dual meet wins during the Vikings' six-meet win streak.

2005-06 - Redshirt Season

Sat out after transferring to CSU from Kent State.

High School

Won national championship as a senior and three consecutive state championships after placing sixth as a freshman...posted 146-11 career record and was named wrestler of the year in Stark County...also a second team all-state selection in football.
