Cleveland State looks forward to welcoming back their alumni for a pre-match gathering before being recognized during the intermission after the fifth match.

Last Time Out
Cleveland State competed in their final open on Saturday at Edinboro University, with Tate Geiser finishing as the lone placer, taking fourth at 165-pounds.

About Edinboro
The Scots are 1-9 overall and 0-5 in the MAC with their only win coming on Dec. 21 against Sacred Heart, 27-14. Edinboro is coming off a 43-3 loss against Clarion at home on Jan. 28.

Series History
This will be the 37th meeting of the series, with Edinboro holding a 29-7 advantage. The Vikings have won the last two meetings, including a 25-12 victory last season on the road.

Preseason Poll
Cleveland State was chosen to finish third in the MAC for the 2023-24 season after receiving 86.5 points. Lock Haven was picked to claim its third straight title with 126.5 points, and Central Michigan was second with 119 points. 

Welcome Back, Placers

The Return of the Champ
Ben Smith returns to the Cleveland State lineup after taking this past season off to focus on school. In 2022, Smith became the Vikings first-ever MAC Champion, winning at 197-pounds. This season, he will start the year as the favorite to win his second MAC title in the same weight class.
