PDF Release: NCAA Championship

Junior Riley Shaw and redshirt senior Ben Willeford will travel to St. Louis for the Division I Wrestling Championships on Thursday (Mar. 19) through Saturday (March 21). Shaw and Willeford will look to become CSU's first All-American since 1995.

Ben Willeford was seeded 13th where he will wrestle Ethan Lizak (26-13) of Minnesota. Willeford, who finished 27-8 and nearly perfect in the EWL, will wrestle Thursday morning in the first session of competition.

Shaw, who went 6-0 in the EWL and finished with an impressive 31-4 record, will wrestle against the #5 seed Connor Medbery of Wisconsin. Shaw and Medbery met earlier in the season at the Navy Classic in the Championship match. Riley will look for redemption in this Thursday morning showdown.

Each session will be aired on ESPNU and ESPN3 with the Championship rounds hosted on ESPN. ESPN3 will cover every match and every mat. Thursday rounds will begin at 12 p.m. ET/11 a.m. CT. The second session will begin at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT. Each session will be an eight mat configuration.
