Vikings Fall to Edinboro

CLEVELAND, Ohio- The Cleveland State wrestling team fell to No. 14 Edinboro 39-4, in what was CSU's first EWL dual meet of the season at Woodling Gymnasium.

The Vikings (1-6, 0-1 EWL) posted a win from freshman Nick Montgomery.  He tallied his second major decision of the season over Edinboro's Jeff Miller, improving his record to 12-7. Sophomore heavyweight Riley Shaw fell to EU's Ernest James, but had a hard fought bout in a double overtime tiebreaker.

Cleveland State will be back on the mats on Friday (Jan. 31) as the team will travel to Bloomsburg for their second EWL dual of the season.  Wrestling will take place at 7:00 p.m.
