BROADVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio - The Cleveland State men's tennis team won its 28th straight match over a Horizon League opponent with a 7-0 sweep of Valparaiso on Saturday evening at Peak Performance Tennis Club.

The win improved the Vikings to 9-7 overall and kept CSU in first place in the league at 3-0.

"This was a good, solid win for us," head coach Brian Etzkin said. "We came out with a lot of energy and intensity and played three good matches in doubles. That effort carried over to singles play. We were excited to come back home after being on the road for the last month and it was great to give the home fans a win tonight."

CSU is back in action on Sunday (April 3) when the Vikings host UIC at 3:00 p.m. at Paramount Tennis Club.
