COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Cleveland State men's tennis team returned from the three-month winter break with the difficult task of taking on one of the top teams in the nation, and dropped a 7-0 decision to Ohio State on Friday evening in Columbus, Ohio.
The Vikings dropped each of the six singles matches in straight sets, with Jay Tee and Eric Winn being the only players to win at least one game in their match. Tee lost to the nation's top player, Jeremy Wurtzman, by a 6-3, 6-1 margin, while Winn fell to Ross Wilson, 6-1, 6-3.
Cleveland State returns to action on Sat., Jan. 24, at Michigan State.
