Abboud & Gedlitschka Named #HLTennis Doubles Team Of The Week

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – After picking up a pair of wins against IUPUI and Northern Kentucky to remain perfect in the Horizon League last weekend, the Cleveland State men's tennis team has been recognized by the league, with JuandeDios Abboud and Carl Geditschka earning Doubles Team of the Week honors.  

This marks the third time this season that Abboud & Gedlitschka have been named the #HLTennis Doubles Team of the Week. 

Last weekend, the duo went 2-0 at the top of the lineup, helping the Vikings pick up the early doubles point against IUPUI and NKU. 

Against IUPUI Abboud & Gedlitschka earned a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles, while they posted a 6-2 win against Northern Kentucky. 

The two wins moved the duo into a tie for ninth place on the CSU Single-Season Wins List with a 17-10 record, while they also rank third on the CSU Doubles Wins List with 32 career wins as a duo.
