CLEVELAND, Ohio – For the second straight week, the Cleveland State men's tennis team picked up Horizon League Singles Player of the Week honors, as Mikael Erler earned his first weekly accolade of his CSU career. 

Through the first two weeks of the 2022 spring season, Cleveland State has picked up back-to-back Singles Player of the Week honors, as Maxime Mareschal-Hay earned the accolade during the first week of play. 

Last time out, Erler went 2-0 against Xavier and Butler, picking up a 7-5, 6-4 win at No. 3 singles against the Musketeers and a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles against the Bulldogs. 

Through the first two weeks of the spring season, Erler owns a team-best 2-2 singles record, while this weekend's wins marked Erler's first dual match singles wins as a Viking.
