CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State men's tennis team will return to action this week, participating in the ITA Midwest Regional beginning on Thursday, October 18 and running through Monday, October 22. This year's ITA Midwest Regional will be hosted by Notre Dame and will take place in South Bend, Ind.

Cleveland State will be one of 20 teams competing in the Midwest Regional, including Horizon League opponents Detroit Mercy, Green Bay, UIC, and Youngstown State.
QUALIFYING SINGLES DRAW | MAIN SINGLES DRAW | MAIN DOUBLES DRAW
Qualifying Singles Draw
Cleveland State will have three representatives in the Qualifying Singles Draw, including Benjamin Slade, Raul Teichmann and Clark Bilinovich. This trio will begin action on Thursday, October 18 in the 64-player Qualifying Draw. Eight players from the Qualifying Singles Draw will advance to the Main Draw.
Main Singles Draw
Three Vikings earned a spot in the Main Singles Draw this year, with Nico Mostardi, Matthew Terry and Luke Phillips all representing Cleveland State in the draw. This trio will be part of a 64-player Main Singles Draw, with first round action beginning on Saturday, October 20.
Main Doubles Draw
Cleveland State will also have three doubles teams in the Main Doubles Draw, with Nico Mostardi/Benjamin Slade, Matthew Terry/Raul Teichmann and Luke Phillips/Clark Bilinovich teaming up. The 64-team Main Doubles Draw will begin on Friday, October 19.

Slade On CSU Singles Wins List
Entering the week, senior Benjamin Slade is tied for eighth on the CSU Singles Wins List, owning 62 career victories. Slade, who is the only current Viking to be on the CSU Singles Wins List, needs just eight more wins to become the seventh Viking all-time to reach the 70-win mark.
Mostardi Chasing Win #50
Entering the ITA Midwest Regional, junior Nico Mostardi is just two wins shy of reaching 50 victories for his career. Mostardi, who has a 48-30 career record, would become the 14th Viking to join the 50-win club, joining teammate Benjamin Slade.
