2006-07 - Junior Season

Regarded as one of the top sprint freestyle and butterfly swimmers...competed in the butterfly leg of the 200 and 400 medley relays and helped both teams to first place finishes at the Horizon League Championships...posted the team's second-fastest swim in the 100 freestyle (46.92) and the third-fastest swims in the 50 freestyle (21.32) and 100 butterfly (50.92)...claimed a win in the 50 freestyle against Miami (OH) (1/27) with a time of 21.58.

2005-06 - Sophomore Season

Established himself as one of the team's top sprint and relay swimmers...swam the anchor leg on the 400 and 200 medley relay teams that placed first and second at the Horizon League Championships, respectively...both relay teams set team top times at the league championships...finished seventh at the league championships in the 50 free with a team-best time (21.31)...placed ninth at the league meet in the 100 fly with a time of 50.65 while placing 10th in the 100 free (47.05).

2004-05 - Freshman Season

Culminated his campaign with fifth and eighth place finishes in 100 and 50 free, respectively, at the Horizon League Championships...his top times in the 50 free (20.84) and 100 free (45.91) ranked among the top five in the conference...claimed individual runner-up and second team all-league honors in the 100 fly at the league meet while contributing to a pair of top-three finishes in the 200 and 400 free relays...earned first team all-league laurels as member of championship 400 medley relay unit...helped 200 medley relay squad to a school-record time (1:31.99).

High School

Finalist in the Swedish Nationals from 2000-2003 in the 50 and 100 free and the 100 fly.

Born Sept. 11, 1982 in Providence, R.I....son of Bo and Cecilia Norling...has one brother, Patrick...earned CSU's Athletic Academic Excellence Award in 2005...international business major.
