CLEVELAND, Ohio - Cleveland State junior Danny Roberts has been named the Horizon League Men's Diver of the Week after a spectacular performance Saturday (Jan. 31) against Xavier University and Oakland University.

Roberts received first place in each event after impressive scores of 338.85 in the 1-meter and 324.53 in the 3-meter diving events. 

"Danny has been doing very well this year. He's been working hard. This award is well deserved," Diving Coach Rich Karban said. 

The Vikings will move on to visit UIC (Feb. 6) at 5:00 p.m. and Notre Dame (Feb. 7) at 12:00 p.m. for their last two meets of the season. The Vikings have had a great year so far and look to prove that in the Horizon League Championships February 25-28 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
