Men's Swimming Battled, but Fell to Miami (OH)

OXFORD, OH – The Cleveland State men's swimming and diving team swam against Miami University on Saturday afternoon.

The Vikings battled, but fell to the Redhawks 120.5-108.5.

CSU had five first place winners in the individual swimming and diving events. Gage Alleman led the team by placing first in three separate events. Those events included the 200 IM (1:55.76), 200 butterfly (1:56.58), and 200 breaststroke (2:10.04). Danny Roberts also contributed by winning the 1 meter diving event with a score of 306.14. Philipp Sikatzki won the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:51.53. The men finished the day with a first place finish in the 400 freestyle relay.

The Viking men and women will be back in action Saturday (Nov. 8) at St. Bonaventure with events beginning at 3 p.m.
