INDIANAPOLIS- For the first time this season, and second time in his career, Cleveland State Vikings' senior Justin Hill has been honored this week as the Horizon League's `Male Swimmer of the Week' following his performance at UIC this past weekend.

Hill, one of the Vikings' best swimmers, showed that skill at the final dual meet of his career at UIC, winning both of his individual events as well as helping to lead one relay group victory.

Individually Hill won both the 50 freestyle (20.92), and 100 freestyle (45.98), and on the relay side he teamed up with Adam IngledewAlex Lewis, and Martin Persson to win the 400 freestyle relay (3:04.33).

For Head Coach Wally Morton, Hill's success is one of the best personal stories he has seen in the sport.

"Justin Hill is one of the great stories in swimming, being introduced to the sport as a sophomore in high school and going on to be one of the top swimmers in the Horizon League is nothing less than sensational," Morton said. "His success is a result of focused training on detail and being a student of the game."

Hill and the Vikings will now be off from competition until they travel back to UIC and compete in the Horizon League Championships from February 27th through March 2nd.
