INDIANOPOLIS- For the second straight week, and third time this season, Cleveland State Viking freshman diver Danny Roberts (Fairview, Pa.) has been named the Horizon League's Male `Diver of the Week.'

Roberts was a perfect three for three in CSU's final home weekend of competition against Notre Dame and Wright State. The freshman won the 1-meter dive against the Fighting Irish (326.03) Friday, before then winning both the 1-meter (278.95) and 3-meter (292.95) dives vs. Wright State Saturday.

"Danny dove really well against Notre Dame, he had a little injury so he couldn't dive the 3-meter but he came back on Saturday and was able to get both events," said Head Diving Coach Rich Karban. "As a freshman he's doing very well this season."

"He's where I expected he would be at this point in the season and if he keeps doing what he's doing it's really going to sharpen up by the end of the year," Karban added.

The third weekly honor ties Roberts with UIC's Mike Greco for the most male `Diver of the Week' honors this season in the Horizon League.

Roberts and the men will be off from competition this week but will be back in the pool February 2nd at 2:00 p.m. vs. UIC in their final dual meet of the season.
