Position Opening: Head Women's Soccer Coach

HEAD WOMEN'S SOCCER COACH

Cleveland State University is pleased to announce that it is starting a women's soccer program that will begin competing in the fall of 2004. We have re-opened the search and are accepting applications and nominations for the position of Head Women's Soccer coach. Duties will begin on January 2, 2003. The expectation is the first year and one-half will be spent recruiting, scheduling and building an awareness of the program. Successful applicant will be responsible for the organization and administration of all facets of the women's soccer program to insure a quality program and successful Division I team. Recruits athletes and oversees their training. Monitors and supports academic success of student-athletes. Builds and maintains a public awareness of the program. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills. Responsibilities must be carried out within the mission of the University to help create an effective learning environment for students, to treat all persons with dignity and respect and to actively demonstrate an attitude of willing service and teamwork.

Qualifications include: bachelor's degree, experience coaching at the collegiate or equivalent level, knowledge of and commitment to NCAA rules. Preferred qualifications include experience as a recruiter, Master's Degree, U.S. Soccer B license or higher, or NSCAA National Diploma.

Salary commensurate with experience, $40,976 minimum to $44,000.
