The Vikings will begin regular season play with only two home games in their first eight contests starting the season at St. Bonaventure (Sept. 1), before a match with Niagara University in Cleveland on Sept. 5. Then it's back on the road for a three-game road trip at Northwestern (Sept. 10), Northern Illinois (Sept. 12) and SIU Edwardsville (Sept. 17).

CSU will then play its second home game of the season on Sept. 19 when the Vikings face IPFW, before traveling to Chicago, Ill. to begin Horizon League play against UIC (Sept. 24) and Loyola (Sept. 26).

The Vikings will then come home for a five-game homestand beginning against the defending Horizon League Champion Green Bay (Oct. 1). After a game against Milwaukee (Oct. 3), CSU will finish its homestand with games against Pittsburgh (Oct. 6), Valparaiso (Oct. 9) and Buffalo (Oct. 11).

Krenzler Field has treated the Vikings well over the last two years as they have posted a record of 11-0-3.

Following the homestand it's back on the road for games against Detroit (Oct. 15) and IUPUI (Oct. 17), before their final two home games of the regular season against Wright State (Oct. 23) and NCAA tournament runner-up Akron (Oct. 30).

CSU closes out the regular season with a road game against the league tournament runner-up Butler Bulldogs (Nov. 5).

November 9th marks the beginning of the Horizon League Tournament with the first round games being played at campus sites. The semifinals of the tournament will be played on Nov. 12, and the finals on Nov. 14. Both the semifinals and finals will be played at the higher seed's location.
