CLEVELAND, Ohio - Cleveland State men's soccer head coach Ali Kazemaini continues to improve the depth of his 2010 squad, adding three high school student-athletes to his 2010 recruiting class.

Signing with Cleveland State are Cameron Eisses (Campbellville, Ont.), Al James (Toronto, Ont.) and Aslinn Rodas (Ellicott City, Md.). Eisses, James and Rodas will enter CSU as freshmen with four years of eligibility remaining.

"Just like the previous group of recruits, these three incoming players are very committed to the sport, their academics and to improving what we have established here over the last few years," Kazemaini said. "Cameron, Al and Aslinn should all blend well with the other newcomers as well as the upperclassmen returning from last season."

Eisses, a defender, who earned team MVP honors three seasons at King's Christian Collegiate, was the leading scorer during all four seasons of his high school career and led his team to a Soccer Provincial Championship during his sophomore season. He also played club soccer for the nationally ranked Toronto Lynx, leading them to a Super Y League Midwest Division Championship.

James, a defender, earned MVP honors as a freshman and sophomore at Archbishop Romero, where he led his team to a TDCAA division championship during the 2008-09 season.

Rodas, a midfielder, has played club soccer for the Premier Soccer Academy in Lorain, Ohio and the D.C. United Development Academy, while also being invited to train with the U17 National team during 2008.

The Trio joins Manual Conde, Caleb Eastham, Tommy Fitzgerald, Jordan Hart and Aldo Maiorano who all signed with CSU during the early signing period.

A biography on each of the three additions follows.

Cameron Eisses
6-2, Fr., Defender
Campbellville, Ontario

COACH KAZEMAINI'S COMMENTS:
"Cam is another versatile player that will be able to help in both the center of defense or in the center of midfield. He is tall and athletic, and should help us in the air down the middle of the field. But, he still has very good instincts going forward and can also help us in the attack. Whether he is in the back or in the midfield, Cam should help us a great deal."

Al James

COACH KAZEMAINI'S COMMENTS:
"Al is an attacking left back, something that can be very hard to find. He is very quick and strong on the ball, and isn't afraid to get stuck in with his tackles. Combine that with his natural instinct to get involved in the attack, and Al can be a very dangerous player for us on the outside."

Aslinn Rodas

COACH KAZEMAINI'S COMMENTS:
"Aslinn is the type of player that is fun to watch play no matter where he is on the field. He is calm and collected on the ball, never panicking when he is put under pressure, and has the ability to be very creative going forward. I'm very excited about watching our midfielders link up and play together. I think, with the addition of Aslinn, that our midfield can be extremely creative and effective on both sides of the ball."
