CLEVELAND - No. 16 Wisconsin-Milwaukee (13-3-0, 4-0-0 Horizon League) scored the game's only goal in the 29th minute en route to defeating Cleveland State (2-13-0, 0-7-0 Horizon League), 1-0, this afternoon at Krenzler Field. The loss was the Vikings' seventh this season by one goal.

The Panthers scored when sophomore forward Kyle Lance carried the ball down the right side of the field and crossed it to senior forward Ryan Seymour eight yards in front of the net. Seymour collected the ball and flicked it over CSU goalie James Kryger (St. Catharines, Ontario/Governor Simcoe).

Kryger made three saves on the day to keep the Vikings close. Chris Dadaian and Brad Swenby combined on three saves for UW-Milwaukee's sixth shutout of the season.

The Panthers out-shot the Vikings 12-8 and also took 14 corner kicks to CSU's one. The Vikings committed 21 fouls to UWM's 13.

Cleveland State is in action again on Tuesday (Oct. 23) when they travel to Akron for a 7:15 p.m. contest.
