More often than not exhibition contests are used to work out early season kinks and try and find a rhythm after a preseason of playing only against teammates.

Cleveland State looked like they found that rhythm very quickly Thursday night as they scored seven second half goals in route to a 10-0 win over Gannon University at Krenzler Field. Cristian Arboleda, Aaron Adkins, Cazz Warren and Admir Suljevic all had two goals for the Vikings to lead the way offensively, with Zach Ellis-Hayden and Jacob Naumann each chipping in with one goal for the home team.

Suljevic put CSU on the board with his two goals early, scoring first just under 15 minutes into the game and then again at just over 25 minutes in to give the Vikings a 2-0 lead.

Following one more first half goal by Cristian Arboleda, the scoring rolled on in the second half consistently, including two Aaron Adkins' goals within one minute of each other at the 63 minute mark.

The Vikings were on attack all game long as they out-shot Gannon 28 to 5 (18-2 shots on goal), and controlled possession of the ball much of the contest.

CSU used that control and ball pressure to help put the game away as it wore on.

The Vikings will have their final exhibition contest of the year against St. Francis (Pa.) Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Krenzler Field.
