    3rd Year

Like head coach Pete Curtis, assistant coach Adam Vigon is in his third season on the Cleveland State sidelines.

A native of Macclesfield, England, Vigon was a former youth player with England's Oldham Athletic Football Club. In 1994, he received a scholarship to attend Davis & Elkins College in West Virginia, where he was a two-year starter and a All-WVIAC selection.

Following his sophomore season, Vigon transferred to the University of Charleston where he played under Curtis. Vigon earned all-conference honors in each of the next two seasons, was named team MVP as a senior and led the team to a national rank as high as No. 3.

In 1998, Vigon made the switch from player to assistant coach. The following season, as a member of Curtis' staff, he helped direct Charleston to a 21-2-0 mark and a berth in the Division II national semifinals.

Vigon played in the summer of 2001 for the Northern Virginia Royals -- a Division 3 team in the United States Soccer League. He is pursuing his postgraduate degree in Health & Physical Education and lives in Cleveland.
