About Milwaukee
The Panthers are 4-6-2 overall and 2-3-0 in league play. UWM is coming off a 2-2 draw at Butler, and prior to that, they shutout Detroit at home, 1-0. Player of the Week Honors
Senior goalkeeper Omeed Naeemy was named the Horizon League Under Armour Defensive Player of the Week after leading the Vikings to a 1-0 shutout of IUPUI on Saturday. This marks the first honor of the season and the fifth of his career.

Naeemy made four saves en route to his first shutout of the year and the 19th of his career. He has started five games this season and has recorded 17 saves.

Through five #HLMSOC games, the Vikings are in a five-way tie for fourth place with seven points. IUPUI is atop the standings with ten points, while Purdue Fort Wayne and Oakland are tied for second with nine points.

Preseason Poll
Cleveland State was picked to finish first in the Horizon League preseason poll, as voted on by the league's ten coaches. The Vikings finished with nine of the ten first-place votes for 99 total points. IUPUI was selected second with the final first-place vote for 80 points, and Oakland was third with 71 points.
