Cleveland State Men's Soccer Battles No. 13 Ohio State to a Scoreless Draw

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Vikings (4-1-2) battled No. 13 Ohio State (5-0-3) to a scoreless draw on Wednesday evening at Krenzler Field.

THE GAME
The first half sided with the Buckeyes as the visitors held a commanding 6-1 edge in shots with two of those going on frame.

Cleveland State held a slim 7-6 advantage in shots during the second half with each team putting one on goal.

The Green and White nearly scored in the 86th minute as Hector Gomez's shot from 35-yards out went off the crossbar.

Pablo Kawecki led the Vikings with three shots including one on goal. Omeed Naeemy recorded his second shutout of the year after making three saves.
