Former CSU Standout Zach Ellis-Hayden Joins Orlando City B

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Former Cleveland State men's soccer standout Zach Ellis-Hayden was recently acquired by Orlando City B, heading into the 2016 United Soccer League (USL) season.

Ellis-Hayden was a standout at CSU from 2010-13, playing in 78 career matches. He was a first team All-Horizon League selection in 2013 and a second team all-league and third team all-region selection in 2012 when he helped CSU to the Horizon League title and berth in the NCAA tournament.

As a junior, Ellis-Hayden finished third on the team with 10 points and was tied for second on the team with four goals. He tallied three points on a goal and an assist as a senior.

Ellis-Hayden played in and started all 19 matches as both a freshman and sophomore at CSU.

Prior to his arrival to Orlando, Ellis-Hayden helped K-W United FC win its first PDL championship, defeating the New York Red Bulls U23s 4-3 in the final.
