The Cleveland State Vikings' men's soccer team went 2-0 in its exhibition season Sunday afternoon taking down the St. Francis (Pa.) Red Flash 2-0 at Krenzler Field.

Senior forward Cazz Warren did the damage offensively for the Vikings scoring both goals in the first half of action for CSU.

Warren and the Vikings were able to be aggressive offensively getting a few good looks at goal, and putting pressure on the Red Flash defense.

After scoring his first goal at just under 10 minutes into play on a pass from the left side to the front of the goal, Warren and the offense was able to get on a breakaway for goal number two, using numbers on offense to put it in the back of the net at the 25 minute mark.

The game seemed to be a tale of two halves for both teams as St. Francis was able to pump up the pressure in the second 45 minutes of play to keep the game close and really clamp down defensively.

After getting six shots off in the first half CSU was only able to get one off in the second period.

On the defensive side of the field for CSU it was another solid effort as they pitched their second straight shutout, holding the Red Flash to seven shots and only four shots on goal.

CSU will start the regular season this Friday on the road taking on Robert Morris at 4:00 p.m.
