Cleveland State suffered a 19-12 loss on the road against No. 20 Utah in late night action on Saturday. Amiri Austin finished with his second hat-trick of the year, while Gannon Matthews, Gavin Held, and Alex Van Voorhis finished with two goals apiece.

Series History
This will be the fifth meeting all-time between these two teams with each winning twice. All the wins for the teams came on their home fields. Last season, the Titans came out on top, 13-12.

About the Titans
Detroit comes into the finale with a 2-10 overall record and 2-6 mark in ASUN games. The Titans are coming off an 18-3 loss at home against Bellarmine, which was also cut short due to weather. Ryan Birney tops the team in scoring with 23 goals while Drew Kessenich and Luke Majick have ten assists apiece. Jakob Hemme has played the majority of the games in goal with 137 saves.

ASUN Preseason Poll
Cleveland State was selected to finish seventh in the ASUN after receiving 38 points. Utah topped the poll with 92 points, Jacksonville was second with 90 points, and Robert Morris came in third with 85 points.

Gannon Matthews, a sophomore from Eagle, Idaho, was named to the preseason team as a midfielder.
