Viking Lacrosse Announces Equipment Partnership With Warrior Sports

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State University men's lacrosse program and Warrior Sports announced a new multi-year partnership on Monday, April 11, designating Warrior as the Vikings' official equipment supplier. Warrior, who outfits more than a dozen Division I lacrosse programs across the country, will supply all of Cleveland State's equipment needs.

"Warrior equipment has been worn by Division I's last four National Champions," said CSU Head Coach, Dylan Sheridan, who has served as a former assistant coach at both Princeton and Denver. "The company was built on lacrosse and continues to be the most innovative equipment provider in the sport. When I began drafting a blueprint for Vikings Lacrosse, securing this relationship long-term was a top priority. I'm extremely thankful to Warrior for their belief in our vision and continued support of CSU. Teaming up with Warrior brings our program instant credibility."

Last summer, CSU announced that the university was adding men's lacrosse to their roster of Division I varsity programs. When the Vikings begin play in the spring of 2017, they will become the 71st Division I men's lacrosse program in the country, and the 5th in the Midwest.
