The men's squad was paced by sophomore Cody Harris (Tecumseh, Ontario/St. Anne's) who recorded a 73-77-75---225 to place tied for seventh. Senior Christian Komsa (Tecumseh, Ontario/E.J. Brennan) finished just two strokes behind Harris, tallying a 76-79-72---227 for a 12th-place tie. Senior P.J. Myers (Westlake, Ohio/St. Ignatius) and junior Billy Houle (Joliette, Quebec/Georges Vanier) posted three-round scores of 233 and 234 to finish tied for 17th and 19th, respectively.
Freshman Kristen Obush (Indiana, Pa./Indiana Area) led the women's squad, shooting an 82-83-79---245 for a fifth-place tie. Sophomore Tori Kastl (Hinckley, Ohio/Hinckley) finished tied for 11th with an 82-91-82---255 while sophomore Carma Rieck (Southport, Ind./Southport) shot an 86-97-86 for 17th place.
The men's squad from Wright State edged out Butler in a tiebreaker to finish first in the championship. Jeff Chapman of Butler won individual medallist honors. Youngstown State took the top spot on the women's side, beating out Loyola by five strokes thanks to the 1-2 individual finishes of Lori Hatcher and Jennifer Gorssi.
Following the tournament, the all-Horizon League Men's and Women's Golf Teams were announced. Cleveland State head coach Tom Porten was named the Women's Golf Coach of the Year after guiding the Viking women to three top-three finishes this season. CSU picked up a first-place finish at the Malone Fall Invitational (10/11-12), second place at the Ashland Invitational (9/9) and third at the Cleveland State Invitational (4/21-22).
Also selected to the all-league team were Houle and Komsa for the men and Obush for the women. Komsa earns the award for the second time after being honored last season.
Jesse Hutchins of Wright State was named the men's Player of the Year while Kendra Palmer of Loyola was selected as the women's Player of the Year.
