GREENVILLE, N.C. - The Cleveland State men's golf team stands in 16th place after the first two rounds of the East Carolina Pirate Fall Invitational. Playing at the par 72 Bradford Creek G.C. on Monday, the Vikings shot consecutive rounds of 305 for a total of 610. Elon fired a 285-289---574 and stands eight shots in front of East Carolina heading into today's final round.

Senior Mike Bognar (Seven Hills, Ohio/Normandy) shot rounds of 75-76---151 and is tied for 51st, while junior Bill Schaefer (Independence, Ohio/Independence) is tied for 60th after carding a 77-75---152.

Elon's James Hockman leads the individual race by three strokes after firing a 66-71---137.

Cleveland State concludes its fall season with today's final round.
