Vikings Sixth At Greg Palmer Eagle Classic

MOREHEAD, Ky. - Cleveland State carded a final round 299 to move up to sixth place at the Greg Palmer Eagle Classic hosted by Morehead State. IUPUI claimed the team title at 870 -- nine shots clear of second place Samford. Sophomore Mike Rutgers paced the Vikings with a 222 to finish in a tie for 13th.

IUPUI's 283 was 12 shots clear of any other score posted on Tuesday. The Jaguars had three of the top four individual scores, led by Derek Bolling, who tied with Morehead State's Matt Gann for medalist honors at 214.

Freshman Joe Ribelli was tied for 26th at 222, while sophomore Ben Grandy was tied for 34th at 229.

The Classic marked the final action of the fall season for the Vikings.
