BEACHWOOD, Ohio - The final round of the Telich Sun Life Financial/CSU Invitational was canceled due to rain on Tuesday at the par-71, 7,012-yard Canterbury G.G.

Players were able to begin their rounds with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start, playing six or seven holes before heavy rains hit the area.

Players were taken off the course and after a 90 minute wait, the final round was called due to the rain and unplayable course conditions.

Malone won the event with a two round total of 581 and was followed by Oakland (587), Austin Peay (589), Wright State (590) and Cleveland State (591).

Individually, Malone's Justin Lower who shot 71-70 (141) to claim medalist honors over teammate Richie Schembechler (71-71 - 142).

CSU's Andrew Bailey tied for third place with rounds of 72-71 (143).

The Vikings will conclude their fall season when CSU competes in the UC Bearcat Invitational on Oct. 11-12.
