HIGHLAND, Mich. - Cleveland State shot a final round 317 and finished 10th of 14 teams at the 54-hole Detroit Titan Invitational on Saturday at the par-72, 7,142-yard Prestwick Village G.C.

CSU opened the tournament with rounds of 300 and 308 on Friday, finishing with a two-day total of 925.

"We just never got anything going today," assistant coach Nate Miklos said. "The course was set up tougher than yesterday and we had to battle through some difficult conditions. But we can't use that as an excuse because its possible we will see those same conditions next week at the league tournament."

Senior Kyle Cobb led the Vikings, tying for 23rd place with a three round total of 228 (75-73-80), while Michael Klaric tied for 38th with rounds of 71-79-81 (231).

Kellen Erdman had CSU's lowest round today with a 78.

The Vikings will return to action on April 26-27 when CSU competes at the Horizon League Championship in Lexington, Ky. The Vikings have captured the last two league titles.
