FAIRBORN, Ohio - Cleveland State leads host Wright State by two strokes after the opening round of the Norm Bullock Collegiate Classic. The 12-team field is competing at the par 72, 7,007 yard Greene Country Club.

The Vikings put together a 297, while the Raiders sit at 299. Morehead State and Eastern Illinois are another shot back at 300.

Eastern Illinois' Dustin Sloat is the first round leader after carding a two-under par 70. CSU's Steve Weir is alone in second, just a shot back, while Youngstown State's Ryan Stocke is in third following an even par 72.

"We're off to a good start, but there is still a long way to go," CSU head coach Tom Porten said. "It's going to take a full team effort if we hope to be in the same position at the end of 54 holes."
