JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Cleveland State shot a final round 296 and tied for third place at the Don Benbow Classic early this week. The two day, 36 hole event was played at the par 71, 6,566-yard Jacksonville Beach G.C.
Freshman Andrew Bailey was CSU's top finisher, tying for third place with rounds of 71-73 (144), just one shot out of second place.
Senior Kent Monas tied for 12th place at 147 (73-74), while senior Pat Elber and sophomore Michael Klaric tied for 26th with two round totals of 150.
Elber shot a pair of 75's, while Klaric fired 76-74.
The Vikings are back in action on March 28-29 when CSU competes at the Butler Spring Invite.
