JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Andrew Bailey shot a one-under-par 70 and Michael Klaric shot an even-par 71 to help Cleveland State to a 294 in the second round of the Benbow Invitational on Tuesday morning.

The Vikings took 10 shots of yesterday's opening round 304 and finished seventh of 13 teams.

"We got off to a really good start today, but unfortunately, struggled a bit down the stretch," head coach Steve Weir said. "Otherwise, I thought we could have posted a better number. I am happy with the way we bounced back after yesterday's round and we will continue to work before our next tournament here in Florida in a few days."

Bailey followed Monday's opening round 79 with a 70 today, while Klaric was also nine shots better today after an 80 in the first round.

"It was nice to see both Andrew and Michael bounce back with solid rounds today," Weir said.

CSU is back in action on Monday and Tuesday (March 19-20) when the Vikings compete in the UCF Rio Pinar Classic.
