JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Pat Elber shot a 73 and Kent Monas and Andrew Bailey both carded 74's as Cleveland State earned a dual match victory over Butler on Saturday (March 12) at the Jacksonville Beach G.C.

The final score was 298-304 as the top four scores of each team's six golfers were counted.

"We did some good things today," head coach Steve Weir said. "It was nice to be able to get back outside and get some swings in. We still have some things that we need to work out to get where we want to be, but I can see the talent and potential with this group."

Drew Davidson had CSU's fourth best score, carding a 77.

The Vikings will stay in Jacksonville to compete in the Don Benbow Invitational on Monday and Tuesday (March 14-15).
