Cleveland, OH-The Cleveland State men's golf team has compiled its fall schedule, Head Coach Steve Weir announced today. The Vikings will compete in a four-tournament schedule starting on September 11th.
The season kicks off with the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational hosted by Marshall University on September 11th and 12th.
The Vikings will next compete at the Miami(OH) Virtues Intercollegiate in Nashport, Ohio. The tournament is scheduled for September 25th and 26th at The Virtues Golf Club.
Cleveland State will once again host the Tom Tontimonia Invitational in October. The tournament will take place at Lakewood Country Club in Westlake on October 2nd and 3rd. The Vikings finished 12th in last year's tournament.
Cleveland State closes the fall season with a return trip to Dayton for the Dayton Flyer Invitational scheduled for October 16th and 17th. Cleveland State placed tenth in the tournament last season.
The Vikings return four student-athletes after finishing tied for fourth at the Horizon League Championship last season. Cleveland State welcomes three newcomers to the roster in freshmen Dominik Cosic (Concord Township, OH), Dillon Pendergast (Mogadore, OH) and Benjamin Scheef (Olmsted Township, OH).
