DAY TWO RECAP

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. -- Sophomore Zach Robbins shot a two-over par 74 and is tied for 12th place in the medalist standings after the second round of competition at the Horizon League Championship on Monday at the El Campeon Course at the Mission Inn Resort & Club.

Robbins trimmed two shots off of his opening-round 76 by posting three birdies in round two over the par-72, 6,765-yard layout at El Campeon. Robbins has a two-round total of 150, which is good enough for 12th place in the individual rankings. George Kneiser of Green Bay shot a three-under par 69 on day two and is the current leader with a two-round total of 140.

Senior Anton Krecic recorded six birdies on day two of the tournament and finished with a 76. His 36-hole score of 158 has him tied for 27th place heading into tomorrow's final round.

Zak Supelak had the Vikings biggest improvement from round one as he fired a 77, which was a seven-stroke improvement from his opening round. He is currently tied for 31st overall with a two-day score of 161.

Miles DeMuesy and Jules Blakely are both tied for 35th place overall. DeMuesy had two birdies and an eagle on day two and finished with an 86, while Blakely had a pair of birdies on his way to an 82.

Cleveland State is currently eighth in the team standings with a score of 625. The Vikings improved by seven shots in the second round of the tournament after posting a 316 on day one.

The final round of the Horizon League Tournament will be contested on Tuesday (April 23) at the El Campeon Course.
