Men's Golf Opens Play at Rutherford Intercollegiate

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Cleveland State men's golf team opened play at the 42nd Rutherford Intercollegiate Penn State Men's Golf Tournament on Saturday and is in 11th place after rounds of 295 and 302 at the par-71, 7,202-yard Blue Course in University Park, Pa.

The duo of junior Anton Krecic and senior Blake Prince are tied for 35th place overall with 36 hole totals of 147. Krecic shot an even-par 71 in the opening round and a 76 in the afternoo, while Prince shot 74-73. Freshman Zak Supelak shot 77-75 and is in 60th place at 152, while senior Joey Krecic is one shot back at 153 and is tied for 61st place after rounds of 75-78. Freshman Jules Blakeley shot 75-81 (156) and is tied for 66th place.

The final round of the tournament will be played on Sunday.
