MUNICE, Ind. - The Cleveland State men's golf team is in second place after two rounds of the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational that opened on Friday at the par-70, 6,438-yard Delaware Country Club.

The Vikings shot rounds of 362 and 364 today and will enter Saturday's final round seven shots behind leader Ball State which shot 360 and 359.

After Ball State (719) and CSU (726) are Dayton (732), Valparaiso (735), IUPUI (737), Oakland (741), IPFW (742), Wright State (746), Loyola (760), Butler (761), Ohio (767) and Ball State "B" (768).

Each team has six golfers at the event with the top five scores counting per round.

Patrick Luth is tied for second place overall with a 36-hole total of 141. Luth opened with a 72 and shot a one-under-par 69 in round two that featured six birdies. He is one shot behind Ball State's Keegan McKinney who shot 72-68 (140) and holds the overnight lead.

Paul Minko is tied for fourth place overall following an opening round 74 with a two-under-par 68 which was tied for the second lowest round of the day. Minko opened the second round with an eagle two at the par-4, 264-yard third hole, one of just two eagles by the field on the day, and used birdies on the sixth, seventh and ninth holes to post a two-under-par 33 on the front nine. He made all pars on the back nine in the afternoon.

Anton Krecic had a strong day, carding rounds of 72 and 73 and is tied for eighth place overall at 145. Blake Prince is tied for 30th place at 149 (72-79), while Joey Krecic shot 72-79 and is tied for 38th place (151). Mitchell Moore has a 36-hole total of 152 (75-77) and is tied for 49th place.

The final round of the tournament will be played on Saturday.
