Vikings in Third Place After Two Rounds of Wright State Invitational

DAYTON, Ohio - Cleveland State shot rounds of 297 and 301 and is in third place after the opening day of the Wright State Invitational that began on Monday at the par-71, 6,666-yard Miami Valley G.C.

Dayton leads the nine team field with a 36-hole total of 571, while host Wright State is second at 595, three shots ahead of CSU (598). Northern Kentucky (Gold) is in fourth place at 606 and is followed by Green Bay (612), Valparaiso (Brown) (622), Northern Kentucky (Black) (635), Valparaiso (Gold) (642) and Chicago State, which did not post a second round score. 

Joey Krecic is tied for second place overall after rounds of 72-71 (143), just one shot behind Dayton's Brenden Keating who shot 74-68 and is at even-par 142.

Patrick Luth and Mitchell Moore are tied for 13th place after each shot 36 hole totals of 150. Luth shot 73-77, while Moore carded rounds of 74-76.

The final round of the event will be played on Tuesday.
