Prince & Krecic Place in Top-Five at Dayton Flyer Invitational; Vikings Finish Fifth Overall

KETTERING, Ohio - Blake Prince and Joey Krecic both had top-five finishes to help Cleveland State place fifth at the Dayton Flyer Invitational that concluded on Tuesday at the par-71, 7,055-yard NCR South Course.

The Vikings shot a final round 299 today and finished fifth in the 15 team field.

Detroit won the title with a 36-hole total of 598 and was followed by Oakland (603), Youngstown State (605), Dayton (606) and CSU (608) in the top-five.

Prince fired a one-over-par 72 today that included 17 pars and one bogey. He placed third overall with a 147 total (75-72), just one shot behind Detroit's Wil Whitman and Austin Winings of IUPUI who both tallied 146.

Krecic followed yesterday's 73 with a 75 today and tied for fourth place with a 148 total. It was his second top-five finish of the fall season.

The Dayton Flyer Invitational concluded the fall season for the Vikings.
